SECTION 1 – What we do with your information

As part of the process of attending the beginners course or becoming a member (full or associate) at Beeston Rylands Archers we collect personal information that you give us, such as your name, address and email address.

We retain records of our contact with you, which may include notes on our systems, emails, telephone calls, electronic communications and any written correspondence.

We will use your personal information to administer our services that we provide to allow good governance, accounting, managing and auditing of our Archery Club. It is also used for record keeping as well as customer care communications.

We will only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary, based on our legal requirements and for the purposes for which it was collected. At the end of the period, Beeston Rylands Archers will keep a record of your name and date of completion of your beginners course and or years of membership at the club. All other data will either be deleted completely or anonymised.


SECTION 2 – Consent

We infer that you consent to our collecting and using your personal information for the specific reason of partaking in Archery. If you request to be entered into any competitions at other Archery Clubs on your behalf you are consenting to the required personal information being given to the specific club for the sole purpose of competing

SECTION 3 – Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so.


SECTION 4 - Children

All personal information collected for Children under the age of 18 requires consent from a legal guardian. The information collected will only be used for the intended purposes it was given. Photographs may be taken at the club but not used for promotional purposes. If you wish to change or withdraw consent for photographs to be taken please contact beestonrylandsarchers@gmail.com


SECTION 5 – Third Party Services

The third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. Archery GB, East Midlands Archery Society and Nottinghamshire Archery Society each have their own privacy policies which can be viewed on their own websites. The governing body also allows you to control how you are contacted for marketing purposes, these settings can be viewed at any time by logging onto your Archery GB account.


SECTION 6 – Security

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.


SECTION 7 – Cookies

If the settings on your software that you are using to view this website (your browser) are adjusted to accept cookies, we take this, and your continued use of our website, to mean that you accept the use of the cookies provided by this website. We do not store personal information in these cookies at all, not even in an encrypted form. If you should wish to remove the use of all (or selected) cookies from our website, you can do this by altering the privacy settings in your browser.
