Rare excerpts from the old French-Canadian radio series, "Un Homme Et Son Péché" (A Man And His Sin), based on the 1933 novel by Claude-Henri Grignon's, also known as Séraphin Heart Of Stone, one of the longest Radio series in North America, of which, unfortunately, very little recording was preserved. The radio series ran from 1939 to 1962, while the TV version went on from 1956 to 1970, under the title "Les Belles Histoires Des Pays D'En Haut" (The Beautiful Stories From The Upper Countries), not forgetting to mention the films of 1949, 1950 and 2002. Un Homme Et Son Péché, sur disque vinyle de 1961, avec Hector Charland, Estelle Mauffette et Albert Duquesne, qui ont également joué leur rôle dans des épisodes de la vielle série radiophonique de 1939 à 1962. Hector Charland a également poursuit son rôle de Séraphin dans deux films de 1949 et 1950, avec Nicole Germain dans le rôle Donalda et Guy Provost dans le rôle Alexis. Guy Provost a éventuellement repris le rôle d’Alexis dans l’adaptation télévisée "Les Belles Histoires Des Pays D'En Haut", aux côtés de Jean-Pierre Masson dans le rôle de Séraphin et d’Andrée Champagne dans le rôle de Donalda.

Hector Charland continued his role as Séraphin in two movies of 1949 and 1950, with Nicole Germain as Donalda and Guy Provost as Alexis. Guy Provost eventually took over the role of Alexis in the TV adaptation, "Les Belles Histoires Des Pays D'En Haut", along with Jean-Pierre Masson as Séraphin and Andrée Champagne as Donalda.
