About Me

I joined the Department of Economics at Acadia University in 2019, after spending 3 years at the University of Washington Tacoma and 1 year at Colgate University. I completed my PhD in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Davis in 2015.

I previously earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, specializing in transportation economics and logistics.  Prior to beginning my doctoral studies at UC Davis, I worked for two years as an economic consultant in Toronto, with the majority of my projects relating to aviation and urban transportation issues for the Canadian Federal and Provincial governments.

I grew up in Kelowna, BC and now live in Wolfville, NS with my wife Ellie and our two daughters, Roya and Maya.
