This is a reworked photograph taken by Bean Blossom regular Sue Galbraith in 1985. It shows Bill Monroe dancing onstage with Diana Christian as the Blue Grass Boys play. This image had been proposed by Thomas Adler for the cover of the book Bean Blossom, but his suggestion was ignored by marketing people at the University of Illinois Press, who chose MaryE Yeomans' picture of Ralph Stanley and the Clinch Mountain Boys instead.
