Five a side Football (Junior - U14) Started 2002/03 Session
Five a side Football (Senior - U18) Started 1968/69 Session
A change in FA ruling on competitive age matches, meant that 18 year olds, could no longer compete against 11 year olds. ie. imagine the fierce tackles and shots that an 18 year could do.
The 2001 review also recognised that the 11-14 age group is predominately stronger in many coys than 15-18, but not many 11-14's enter the Nationals as it is the preserve of the older Boy, and so a split was introduced.
The competition was split in 2002-03 (U14 - Juniors) and (U18 - Seniors)
