About Us

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Community Band is now in its 30th season! Founded in 1993 by parents of BBHHS band members who loved playing music, the group has flourished over the years and is now one of the most popular community bands in Northeast Ohio.

Directed by Patricia Nemitz, the 45-piece concert band holds rehearsals from 7:30-9:30 p.m. every second and fourth Monday of the month (subject to school schedules) in the middle school band room, 6376 Mill Road in Broadview Heights.

The band performs four concerts a year in the two cities.

The group is open to all ages and skill levels and is happy to welcome new members. If you play a wind instrument or percussion and would like to join the band, please email us at bbhcommband@gmail.com. Even if you have not played in years, you are encouraged to dust off your instrument and check us out for the love of music!
