2024 Fees

The Patrick J. McManus Interpretive Centre at Baxter Conservation Area is available to rent to community groups, businesses, families and individuals. 

Prices are as follows (all fees plus applicable taxes):

1) Day Meeting (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm) - $140

2) Evening Meeting (Monday - Friday, After 4:00 pm) - $140

3) Extended Meeting (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 11:00 pm) - $195

4) Weekend Meeting (Saturday or Sunday) - $200

5) Weekend Social Rentals (Saturday or Sunday) - $275

6) Community Group Overnight Rentals:

• One night overnight - $300

• Two night overnight (Friday to Sunday) - $470

A $50 deposit is required for all day use rentals and a $100 deposit is required for all social and overnight rentals at the time of booking.

The maximum occupancy of the  Interpretive Centre is 60 people during the day and 25 people overnight.

There is a fire pit near the centre that is available for groups to use. Groups are NOT permitted to bring firewood from offsite. We sell bags of firewood at $10/bag; each bag contains 5-8 pieces of wood.

During the winter months, snowshoe rentals available for rental groups at $5/person with a minimum charge of $75. 

For all rentals, full payment is due 7 days prior to the event or booking.  In the event of a cancellation, the following will apply:

-  There is a $25 processing fee for all cancellations.

-  Within 30 days = refund less a $100 processing fee. 

-  Within 24 hours = no refund.

All fees are plus applicable taxes.

You may also book education programs with Baxter staff.  The cost for one program is $200 per class (maximum 30 students).  The cost for two programs is $275 per class (maximum 30 students).  For more information on our programs, please click HERE to view our education webpage.
