Mission Statement

The Bavarian Micro Day aims at fostering exchange and networking among economists in/from Bavaria and takes place twice a year - usually in June and November.

The Bavarian Micro Day is targeted at doctoral students, post-docs, and professors who are interested in microeconomic research in a broad sense.

The programme will typically feature about seven talks (45 minutes including discussion) representing a mixture of juniors and seniors as well as theoretical, empirical, and

experimental work.

The Bavarian Micro Day was founded by Florian Englmaier (LMU Munich), Georg Gebhardt (University of Ulm), and Andreas Roider (University of Regensburg).
