Bassonovas INC (Members only):

RElax participants 'can' be invited to become Bassonovas INC Members after a minimum of 1 Term providing expectations are reached and conditions will apply, as being a member, requires a little more commitment, as you are now able to do gigs! Woohoo! 

Members must also sign a Terms and Conditions Agreement /Code of Conduct before successfully joining the band. 

All Bassonovas Members must also attend the Samba RElax classes, as this is a pre-requisite and this is where most of our learning occurs. The end part of our session (after the tea break) is where we rehearse our regular repertoire for gigs.

It is preferred that a minimum of 3 instruments are learned - to cover absentees. 

BASSONOVAS Inc MEMBERSHIP  REHEARSAL TIMES:

From 8.30pm-9.30pm on a Tues night, in accordance with the Town of Bassendean RElax Class Term dates. Although finish times may vary and be earlier of later - depending on circumstances. 

SAMBA GIGS: 

All Bassonovas Members must participate in as many gigs as they can, wearing the relevant Bassonovas costumes. This is the most fun part of the whole experience! All instructions must be followed in a highly professional manner from the Client and Musical Director. 

All information regarding gigs, news updates, social meets or anything Samba related, will be sent via a confidential mailout.

This is the most exciting part of the Bassonovas journey and all our participants love it! Our photos says it all! :) 

SAMBA PERCUSSION WORKSHOPS: 

If a Samba (or African) Percussion Workshop is booked by a Client, the Musical Director will require support from 2 to 4 Bassonovas. 

SAMBA COSTUME WORKSHOPS: 

All costumes are made by the Bassonovas Members themselves and the end products are amazing! 

Costumes are generally made to wear over black or white pants and  Bassonovas T- shirts. Costume choices vary from gig to gig.  

MERCHANDISE: 

Members can also have access to the Bassonovas Merchandise. Personal clothing include the Red or Black Bassonovas T'shirts, warm Fleece Jackets and Sleeveless Fleece Jackets. All designs are created by the group and can be used at rehearsals or gigs when required.
