Useful links

    • NetBSD - This is my favourite Unix-like operating system. It is stable, fast and runs everywhere!
    • dvd+rw-tools - Great open-source dvd burning related applications that run in various platforms. I just want to say to the author one thing. Andy, YOU ROCK!
    • CpuID - A small utility that I wrote, which traces whether your CPU has mmx, 3dnow, etc...
    • ScreenDump - Another utility, which dumps the contents of your screen into a bitmap file.
    • Split - Split and merge files with this small, but must have utility. Very useful for overriding e-mail size limitations.
    • Jsplit - Like the previous one, but this time it is a full blown multithreaded gui app.
    • Break-in DVD - Break-in PAL DVD for plasma TVs.
    • Break-in DVD_MKV - Same as above in a MKV file instead of ISO.
    • Plasma_noise - Use this MKV to clean image retention from your plasma (or OLED) TV.
    • Plasma_noise_bw - Same as above but in black-and-white (some say it is more effective this way).
    • Transmission perl script - This perl script limits peers number for transmission on torrent completion. Edit the script and set host, port, username, password, peerlimit and dumpfile. Requires JSON::RPC::Client library.
