432 MHz Low Noise PREAMP from the ARRL Handbook
432 PREAMP straight from the ARRL Handbook, from 1992? I purchased the PC board from FAR circuits and added my own components from whatever I could find. Reuse is better than recycling, right? It's built around a MGF1402 device.
I purchased the PC board from FAR circuits. They have good prices. Projects are much easier if you already have a PC board.

The preamp draws the appropriate amount of current as expected and increases the noise level heard on 432 MHz, so it appears to work.
I don't have a noise figure/gain meter to test it properly, I'll have to wait to get real numbers on it.
