This is the KM3G/R van at the beach at Lewes, DE, facing north west. This photo is from 2013. I added a 6 meter horizontal dipole at the top of the stack since then. It works much better than the 6 meter, vertically mounted ham stick.
The operating position.
Logging computer on the right. IC-746 for 2 meters and 6 meters The IC-706 on the top drives the 222 Down East Microwave transverter on the left. The 706 also drives the W1GHZ 903 and 1296 transverters just off the left side. An Alinco DR-235 222 FM rig sits on the lower right.
W1GHZ transverters and switching assembly. It's a mess at the moment, but functional. Automated switching is being developed on the bench right now.
2304, 3456, 24192 MHz bands are also in the works.
KM3G/R CAPABILITIES: (bands in RED are future capabilities as of Nov 2019)
Future plans are also to sync all oscillators on transverters to a 10 MHz GPS reference. It's much easier to make contacts when you're not running up and down the band, looking for the other guy.
