Back for round 2, then?  My first arcade machine (a cocktail table-style cabinet) was a lot of fun, but it's so big and heavy that it has to stay at home.  I wanted something to bring in to the office for others to enjoy.  This machine had to have

• • better hardware,

  • smaller size,

  • finer craftsmanship,

  • but still cheap!

Thus, in late 2013, I set to work on "The Water Cooler" bartop.  Then it sat on my kitchen table for several months, and then I finally set to work finishing the project in mid-2014.  Use the links on the left side to view construction logs, read hardware / software notes, or check the Media page for glamour photos : )
