OUTSIDE VISITS SUMMER 2025
Thursday 15th May
Visit to Chislehurst Caves.
An accompanied tour has been arranged to start at 12.15pm. This will take about one hour. The cost is £6.00 payable on the day.
This is a 'self drive' event so car sharing is encouraged.
On site there are toilets, a cafe and car parking

Thursday 10th July
Walking Trip around Faversham. The details are:
10.30 Arrive in Faversham and meet at the Alexander Centre, Preston Street
11.00 Depart for a guided walking tour of Faversham lasting up to two hours
12.45 to 2.15 at leisure in Faversham
2.15pm to c.4.00pm Group visit to Museum
As distance to Faversham is fairly short no transport is being included but car sharing can be arranged
The cost is £5 per head for the walk and a donation for the museum visit.

Wednesday 15th May
Visit to the new Archive Office in Maidstone.
Saturday 8th June
Visit to London. We are taken by coach to Westminster Pier where we travel by boat to Greewich. A tour of the Cutty Sark is included and there will be time to visit other attractions nearby before the coach returns us to Barming.

Saturday 7th June
Thames Cruise & Visit to Hampton Court
Coach takes us to Chertsey where we board a boat which takes us to Hampton Court.
Following time here, the coach returns us to Barming.
2023
Thusday 18th May
Coach Trip to Weald & Downland Museum , Singleton, Chichester.
Cost is £40 including the coach trip and admission charge. In addition there is an optional tour of the Gridshell workshop and artefact store for an additional £5.
The coach leaves Beverley shops at 8.30a.m. & will will return hopefully at 5.30 to 6.00p.m.
Thursday 27th July
Guided Tour of Cobham Hall starting at 2.00pm. The cost is £13.20 including a cream tea. One of the tour guides will be Christoff Bull who has spoken at several of our meetings.
Transport is not provided so make your own way there. If this is not possible, you may be able to find a lift from another member. If you require a lift (making a contribution for fuel) or can offer someone a lift please contact Malcolm Ford (malcolm.ford @btinternet.com)
Please let Malcolm Ford know as soon as possible if you want to go and pay him. We need to notify Cobham Hall by the end of June so that they can arrange for the guides.
