Donations for Costs
A necessary part of the Campaign is to ensure that Jeremy has access to documents and photographs he requires to work on his case. Jeremy has no access to a computer and the only way he can receive the documents is in the post. In addition the lawyers have to be supplied with paper copies of the prepared work Jeremy completes with Campaign team members, which make up the case submissions.
The costs for stationery, printer inks and postage runs into hundreds of pounds per annum. We also pay a fee for electronic storage of the case documents and images as well as the post office box essential for correspondence. Campaign team members have up to now funded these costs running to over a thousand pounds per year.
The initial priority is to purchase a good monochrome laser printer and toners as this will prove to be a far more cost effective means of printing the material though the Campaign ink jet printer will still be used for colour documents and images.
The most recent packages sent to Jeremy last week cost well over a hundred pounds to print and package, the post alone came to £53.20.
