All tv promos took place on Monday April 7th 2014 at the National Electronics Museum.
TV promo 1 features Mike Simons, the Director of the National Electronics Museum at 1745 W. Nursery Road in Linthicum MD, as the tv spokesperson for this annual event which is now in its 14th year.
TV promo's 2, 3 & 4 feature Gary Mauler, the creator & coordinator of the RobotFest event at the National Electronics Museum at 1745 W. Nursery Road in Linthicum MD, as the tv spokesperson for this annual event.
The TV promo header features Tom Rodgers & Megan Gilliland, the FOX45 Morning News Anchors, talking about the upcoming HOMETOWN HOTSPOT live video segment that features various shots of some of the robots that will appear in RobotFest.
The event showcases various robots & other automated/semi-automated devices from home-brewed/DIY (Do-It-Yourself) robots to manufactured kits. Travis Hallenbeck & I were given the chance to appear in this live tv promotion with my home-brewed/custom-made robot, the RoverBot2013, because I helped the museum get in touch with Fox45 TV Baltimore about advertising the event on their live HOMETOWN HOTSPOT morning segment. Here are photos of the robot - https://sites.google.com/site/baltimoreroboticssociety/home/my-robot-construction-projects.
As representatives of the Baltimore SDIY Group, Travis & I also provided the electronic sound effects that you can hear in the background during the live tv shoot for promos 1 and 2 only. The Baltimore SDIY Group & MD3E (Maryland Experimental, Electronic and Electroacoustic) have been providing electronic sound effects for this event for the past 6 years.
Thanks to Gary Mauler for inviting Travis & I to be on the live tv promos.
