The Bailey Orchestra Patrons, or "BOP" as we call ourselves, is the 501(c)3 non-profit parent booster group supporting the orchestra program at Bailey Middle School. We are made up of approximately 90 families who believe that music makes a difference in all aspects of a child's life. The BOP has an active board of directors who work closely with Mr. Myers to identify the goals for the year and implement the steps needed to achieve those goals. This includes fundraising, performances, community outreach, music education, and field trips.
The money raised through BOP's efforts are the primary source of funding for the middle school orchestra. We support music purchases, instrument purchases, student scholarships for annual fees and field trips, plan/organize logistics and details for field trips and off-site performances, and organize volunteers to all of the above AND help in the classroom.
Option 1: Zelle - This is a no fee option. Use the link or go through your bank's mobile app or online banking. Please send it to baileyorchestrapatrons@gmail.com and include your child's name in the notes section.
Other Options: You can also pay your fees by cash or check. Please make checks payable to Bailey Orchestra Patrons and have your student put it in the lock box in the orchestra room. Please include your child's name with the payment.
There are a limited number of scholarships available to help offset the costs of the program. Please contact Mr. Myers or the BOP Board as soon as possible to discuss options.
It is only through the involvement and support of families like yours that the orchestra program is as successful as it is! Please consider how how you can contribute your time & talents to help make this year a success! Please contact us to volunteer: baileyorchestrapatrons@gmail.com.
