Bailes de Mi Tierra’s mission is to preserve, promote, and present Mexican & Latin American traditions through its music, dance, and folklore.
Now its its 15th season, the group has become a community favorite in the Tri-state region for its colorful costumes, vibrant dances, and the lively sounds of Mexican & Latin American music that provide a rich representation of its heritage and traditions; performing regularly at festivals, museums, schools, and other events.

Dragon Digital Radio
10/28/19: I was invited the studio of Dragon Digital Radio at Howard Community College to be part of a panel discussion to promote the Dia de los Muertos Celebration at the Walters Art Museum!
It was a pleasure to meet radio host Cris Oviedo, and share the mics with Allison Gulick (R), and Gabriella Souza (L) of the Walters Art Museum.
MILLENNIUM Stage
12/13/18: Bailes de Mi Tierra were invited to perform along with Virginia based group "Mariachi Los Amigos" at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage. It was a pleasure to share the stage with my friends.
Welcomng Day Milbrook ES
Milbrook Elementary welcomed its many immigrant students and their families and celebrated the diverse cultures of the school community with performances, a resource fair, and food. The Welcoming Week event, held on Sept. 19, was produced by the BCPS ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) Welcome Center. BCPS-TV was there to capture the sights and sounds.
