Holiday Exchanges

We host 2 holiday exchanges each year for our international virtual r*n participants: a Valentine & Patch Exchange (VDX) in February and a Hashy Gift Exchange (HGX) in December. Participation in the holiday exchanges is limited to kennel members who have participated in a virtual r*n during the calendar year *and* who are in good standing with the kennel.

We limit the holiday exchanges due to problems in the past with people we’d never heard of before (or after) signing up in order to receive something ‘for free’ without sending anything out in return. Our VR regulars also tend to at least know of each other through posts and interactions in the FB events.

Our international virtual r*ns take place in odd-numbered months throughout the year.

February's VD Exchange (VDX) is a Valentine & Patch Exchange where kennel members make or buy a card for their randomly drawn Hashy Valentine, and mail a patch(es) with the card. Patches can be personal, local kennel, or just hashy in general. Signups take place in January.

December's Hashy Gift Exchange (HGX) is where participants are assigned a randomly drawn kennel member to mail a hashy gift to. The gift can be something related to a specific kennel,  personalised with their Hash Name, or just hashy in general. Signups take place in November.

Please note: in both exchanges participants may choose to send something to someone on their continent or anywhere in the world.

We reserve the right to deny participation in the exchanges if a person has proven themselves to be unreliable in one of our previous holiday exchanges.
