William R. Haffenreffer, DCDr. William completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. After practicing in Portland for a brief time, he returned to his home of New England (originally from Massachusetts) to open Back to Health Chiropractic with his wife Dr. Sofia in 1993. He is a very talented practitioner and an articulate educator, he  brings life long learning to his patients.

Dr. William enjoys gardening and surfing in his free time, and is a compendium of knowledge on subjects as diverse as meteorology, scrimshaw and Rolfing. 

S. Sofia Haffenreffer, DC

Dr. Sofia completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic at Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon. She also receive her registered nursing degree in 1986 and a bachelor or Science in Psychology in 1979. She was a life long student with special focus in polarity, flower essence and midwifery in the 70's and 80's.  A native of upstate New York, she and Dr. William moved to New Hampshire in 1993, opening Back to Health Chiropractic together - serving the greater Seacoast region for over 30 years.

Dr. Sofia (along with Dr. William)  have 2 adult children  and a dog named Koda.

Dr. Sofia enjoys yoga/meditation, natural health care, walking in the woods, bringing curiosity to life, and cooking delicious healthy Italian food (a family tradition)!
