This study aims to explore the experiences of neurodivergent and neurotypical students regarding academic accommodations, task management, and mental health. The research seeks to understand how accommodations impact academic performance and well-being and whether common challenges exist between neurodivergent and neurotypical students.

The project tested 1) if a bilingual’s word learning advantage can be observed in preschoolers (4- to 5-year-olds; N = 64), and if so, 2) whether it is linked to cross-language activation or/and heightened sensitivity to imagery associated with concrete words (e.g., horse, flower) versus abstract words (e.g., pretty, help).
