Baba Baikunthanath Bramhachari was an eminent spiritual Guru, yogi, philosopher, freedom fighter and an outstanding devotional poet. He was Born on January 20, 1912 (Makara Magha Sukla Dwitiya) as Batakrushna in the Bishwanathpur village, Cuttack, Orissa.
He spread the knowledge of truth and non-violence through out the corners of India and for this He established a spiritual organization, Satya Seva Mandala
Biography
He was the only son of Choudhry Chaitanya Kar and Mata Subhadra Devi. Before His birth, His mother had a dream that God Himself telling, Mother please give me a place in your womb.
Bishwanathpur, where Baba Baikunthanath was born is situated in the south side of 'Maninaga Cave', Jalaukawhich is a very much holy place as described by the devotional poets Jagannath Dash and Balaram Dash(Panchasakha).
Lost His parents in the childhood, the boy Batakrushna was taken care by His grand-mother. Though he is naughty in childhood,inside His inner heart there is a spiritual and devotional quality risen very glowingly.Just like a devotee from his childhood starts worshipping and meditates God, the boy Batakrushna takes any soil idol and makesit like Radha, Krishan idol.
Though He was highly intelligent, still His mind was not in a mood to read. Apart from this He was very happy by inspiring the friends to do Bhajan and Kirtan.
Ashram and Satya Seva Mandala
In 1979-80, Baba Baikunthanath established Satya Seva Mandala in Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa and from then every Thursday Mandala was organised where many disciples of Baba do the Guru puja, Bhajan and Satsang.
Including the Ekamra Satya Sevashram in Bhubaneswar, there are other ashrams of Baba present in Jalauka where Baba did the SadhanaKendrapada(Garapur Matha) near Baladev jiu temple and in Tihuda, Jagatsinghpur(Gurukripa Kutir)
