Muhammad Azfar Yaqub (M`19) is currently working as a Lecturer at the Department of Electrical Engineering, COMSATS University, Islamabad, Pakistan. He received his bachelor’s degree from COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Pakistan in 2007, Master’s degree from the School of Computing and Communication, Lancaster University, United Kingdom in 2010 and Ph.D. degree from MoNeT Lab at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea in 2019. He has over 25 publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences with 30+ impact factor. He also has published a book chapter and 2 patents.

He is an active IEEE and ACM member serving TPC/reviewer for several conferences including ACM SAC, ACM RACS, IEEE ICC, IEEE CCNC, IEEE VTC, IEEE Globecom, and journals which include IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Internet Computing, Elsevier Vehicular Communications, and Computer Networks. Moreover, Dr. Azfar has been the editorial member of 2 special issues with top-ranked journals in Communication Society and serving as an topic editorial board member of MDPI electronics journals. His research interests include future internet architectures, information centric network, CCN, NDN, wireless ad-hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, connected vehicles, video streaming.
