Operation Management is basically the management of process or system that creates goods and/or service. This course is designed for the MBA students in such a way that enable them to obtain comprehensive knowledge on operative functions of business.
The specific objectives of the course can be outlined as:
Understanding of day-to-day management of the resources in the areas of service and manufacturing
Enhancing the ability of students to identify various operational strategies related to Demand, Procurement, Planning, Processes and overall Supply Chain
Good understanding of the facility layout and planning for respective manufacturing/service activities
Developing relationship between operations and other business area in an organization
