Cross Country Derby

Rules and General Information:
1. You may choose to ride on October 8th or October 28th. The cross country course will be judged according to the current USEA rules. Your 1st round will be your scoring round. An extra schooling round may be added. Coaching by your trainer/coach is permitted and encouraged during “extra round”.
2. Any horse/rider and division combination accepted.
3. Safety vests, ASTM-certified headgear and numbers must be worn when mounted.
4. $45 per division. Extra schooling round $15. We ask that all day- of registrations be completed by noon on the day of the event.
5. Management reserves the right to stop and excuse an unsafe horse/rider combination.
6. Dogs must be leashed at all times.
7. A signed liability waiver must accompany each entry. Liability waivers will be available at the secretary's booth.
8. Current coggins & rabies certificates must accompany entry and will be kept on file for the year.
9. The Derby opens to walk Friday at 4pm and closes 7pm. Results will be posted after last ride on Saturday and on our website. Ribbons 1st – 6th will be mailed. Closest to Optimum Time ribbon will be awarded at each Derby.
10. No ride time requests or reserves. Show up and go when you're ready, and the first rides start at 9 am.

Grasshopper (jumps not exceeding 18", 250 m/m)
Elementary (jumps not to exceed 2', 300 m/m)
Beginner Novice (jumps not to exceed 2'7 350 m/m)
Novice (jumps not to exceed 2'11 400 m/m)
