Beta Tau: Pledging/Membership

Membership:

Membership in our chapter of the Alpha Chi Sigma is open to both men and women who have completed at least one semester of college chemistry at the time of initiation. You do not need to be a chemistry or biochemistry major to join, but rather just an interest in the chemical sciences! Our brothers are a diverse, fun-loving group of individuals and include everyone from undergraduate and graduate students to Alumni!

Pledging:

In order to join our brotherhood, you must "pledge" into the chapter. The pledge process typically begins about half-way through the Fall semester and ends in the Spring semester with Initiation, where pledges become full brothers. During the pledge process, candidates meet with the Vice Master Alchemist to learn about the fraternity's history, the alchemy of the ancients along with other fraternal knowledge. Pledges are encouraged to come to chapter events and become friends with the current brothers!
