We have divided the questions into three major categories:
I. What can a university do to attract, retain and support women assistant professors?
These questions concerns ways in which university administration can act by changing university policies. Are there policies that benefit women in science that haven't been reaching women in mathematics?
II. What can a department do to attract, retain and support women assistant professors?
These questions concerns ways in which department leaders can act within their departments.
III. What can an individual faculty member do to attract, retain and support women assistant professors in their department?
These questions concern how faculty members who are not in positions of power can act to improve the environment and provide mentoring.
