IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER:
*AV for Grades 7-9 Audition Date, December 2nd:
7th-9th Grade Students are highly encouraged to begin working on the linked Allegheny Valley (AV) Jr. High Audition Music in order to audition on December 2nd (after school) to potentially be selected to participate in this prestigious honors event/ensemble.
AMS/AHS - Tuesday, December 9th:
6th-8th Grade Orchestra & 7th-12th Grade Bands Winter Concert - In The Evening - AHS Auditorium
AES/AMS Wednesday, December 10th:
5th & 6th Grade Band, 5th & 6th Grade Choir, and 5th Grade Orchestra Winter Concert - In The Evening - AHS Auditorium
AMS/AHS - Tuesday, May 5th:
6th-8th Grade Orchestra & 7th-12th Grade Bands Spring Concert - In The Evening - AHS Auditorium
AES/AMS - Wednesday, May 6th:
4th-6th Grade Band with Jazz Band Feature, 5th & 6th Grade Choir, and 4th & 5th Grade Orchestra Spring Concert - In The Evening - AHS Auditorium
AMS/AHS - Thursday, May 7th:
Jazz Bands and Small Ensembles Concert - In The Evening - AHS Auditorium
UPCOMING REMINDERS:
Visit the "Equipment" Tab to consider replenishing some instrument accessories, supplies, oils, upgrading mouthpieces, etc.!

Elementary School Schedule for when to Bring Instruments/Materials:

4th-5th Graders have band class during their “music special” once every six school days as noted above.
In addition, 5th Graders have focus period full band one or two times per week
Those who are also in choir will split their focus period time as follows: Monday = Choir / Tuesday = Band
Middle School Schedule for when to Bring Instruments/Materials:
6th & 7th/8th Grade Students
Have Full Band every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Those who are also in choir and/or orchestra will split their time as follows:
