I am an associate professor in Linguistics at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and the director of the ALPS (Alpine Laboratory of Phonetic Sciences) at unibz.

Research interests: 

- phonetics and laboratory phonology (acoustic and articulatory phonetics)

- sociolinguistics (language variation) 

- computational linguistics (automatic speech recognition)
