FDP Calculator

FDP Calculator is a java based cellphone application that runs directly off your java enabled cellphone whether the phone is online or in flight safe mode. It is specific to South African FDP rules and regulations.

It calculates the maximum allowable FDP and latest scheduled sign-off time (in both Local Time and UTC) based on the FDP limits for 2 pilots acclimatised to local time. It takes into account your planned sign on time, UTC Time Zone of sign on, number of sectors flown and any rest time which might allow for split duty. It also allows you to SMS the results to another cellphone should you need to communicate the findings.
