D.M. (Don) White

Don White was the Resident Manager of Serendip Wildlife Research Station throughout this project.

Don has had extensive experience working with Australian native birdlife including the Magpie Goose, Cape Barren Goose, the Brolga, and the Australian Bustard.

He later became Director of the Werribee Zoological Park responsible for exotic and Australian animals.

He and his wife Nancy live in an idyllic bush block adjoining the Brisbane Ranges National Park in Victoria - with plenty of birds and native animals and his bees [Don is an apiarist]. These days he enjoys golf and fishing and they both love spending time with their family and travelling
