All our funding comes from the pockets of our volunteers and donations. We greatly appreciate any money that you can give towards the ongoing work of Aughrim Cat Rescue.
The cost per cat rescue varies on sex as neutering / spaying costs depend on whether it is a male or female cat. Also, younger cats have larger nutritional requirements than older cats as they are still growing and the cost of feeding them is slightly higher. Prices also vary from vet to vet, and where we always try to get the best price to stretch our funds, it is not always practical to go to the cheapest option.
On average, the cost per cat is € 60 for males and €90 for females.
