Educational Background
I started playing the piano at the age of 3, and have been supervised by Prof. Tsutomu Naruse and Prof. Keiri Nakano.
Also, I studied with Profs. Dido Keuning, Boris Bekhterev, Thomas Mark, Anita King, and Barbara Lister-Sink.

Teaching injury-preventive piano technique and physical retraining for pianists
I have been teaching injury-preventive piano techniques for pianists, piano teachers, and piano students, based on my experiences and training of Alexander Technique (learning since 2002), Body Mapping (also, book translation of "What every pianist needs to know about the body"), Freeing the Caged Bird (certificated piano teacher who completed this program about injury-preventive piano technique) as well as findings from my scientific research of biomechanics and motor control. In 2015, I was also officially certificated as a teacher of Andover Educators. The goal of my teaching is to help pianists discover their optimal ways of using the body, so that they can create their desired musical expression without suffering from physical discomfort and injury. I have been teaching these to pianists, piano teachers and students at MacPhail Music School in USA, Hannover University of Music, Drama, and Media, Mainz University, Folkwang University in Germany, and many music conservatories and our piano academy program in Japan.
