- Worked with Microsoft Azure monitoring and diagnostics group since July 2012
- Designed and developed data marts and reporting infrastructure in analytics pipeline.
- Made schema contributions and developed extensibility/diagnosability features for instrumentation framework library
- Designed and implemented a simulator for cloud analytics pipeline
- Delivered features for fast data processing services in cloud analytics pipeline including fully designing and developing a data processing service for managing customer diagnostics logs
Internships
1) Microsoft Research, Redmond, WA, USA (Research Intern)
- Investigated online SQL query partitioning mechanism to improve resource efficiency and performance of telemetry data analysis in datacenter-scale systems
- Query operators are distributed between nodes where telemetry data is collected and remote servers dedicated for analytics, to improve overall efficiency of query execution
2) VMware, Inc, Palo Alto, California, USA (Research Intern)
- Worked with Architecture team within VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)
- Designed infrastructure for readiness/compliance monitoring and auto-remediation of specification violations, required for effectiveness of disaster recovery (DR) solutions
- Identified specifications at the physical, virtual and management layers of VCF infrastructure for DR effectiveness
- Implemented a prototype demonstrating the ability to monitor violations of specifications from a readiness scenario perspective
3) Amazon.com,Inc., Seattle, Washington, USA (SDE Intern)
- Worked with KPEX (Key Phrase EXtraction) team, under Search Experience group from Jun 2011 to Aug 2011
- Designed and implemented Hadoop Map Reduce based metrics framework to compute performance metrics of product features on Amazon.com website

- Worked with Advanced Embedded Controllers group from Jan 2010-Jul 2010
- Developed Perl based Pre-Assembler for newly designed Coprocessor
