Ryll-Nardzewski Prizes
Dear Colleagues,
Let me draw your attention to two international awards in pure mathematics, established to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Professor Czesław Ryll-Nardzewski. Professor Czesław Ryll-Nardzewski, a renowned Polish mathematician, was a leading figure in the mathematical community of Wrocław for many decades. He was a respected member of our department's faculty for about 30 years.
These awards are:
1. Ryll-Nardzewski Prize of 25 000 Euro, sponsored by the Mayor of Wrocław,
2. Early Career Ryll-Nardzewski Prize of 10 000 Euro, sponsored by AMOTHO.
Full details and eligibility criteria can be found on their respective websites:
crn.pwr.edu.pl/en/prizes/crn-prize and crn.pwr.edu.pl/en/prizes/crnec-prize .
We would be grateful for your help in spreading the word about these awards. Please forward the links above to as many mathematicians and relevant institutions as possible. While we are working to publish the announcement through organizations like EMS and AMS, we believe that personal emails will play a crucial role in reaching a wider audience.
You'll find a sample announcement attached that you can forward.
Thank you for your cooperation.
With best regards,
Romuald Lenczewski
