Rana Asif Rehman (M'17, SM'22) received the M.Sc. degree in computer science from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, Pakistan, in 2010, the M.S. degree in Computer Science from International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics and computer engineering from Hongik University, South Korea, under the supervision of Prof. Byung-Seo Kim in 2016. In 2013, he was a Lecturer with the University of the Sargodha, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. From July 2016 to August 2021, he was an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, FAST-NUCES, Chiniot-Faisalabad Campus, Pakistan. After that, he joined FAST-NUCES, Lahore Campus, as an Assistant Professor, from September 2021 to June 2022. He is currently an Associate Professor with the FAST School of Computing, National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, Lahore Campus. He is also a Cisco Certified Network Associate and a Microsoft Certified Professional. Moreover, he is also a HEC approved Ph.D. Supervisor in Pakistan. His research interests include the design and development of energy efficient routing protocols, cross-layer architectures, caching and forwarding for cognitive radio ad hoc networks, and nameddata networking-based wireless networks. He is also a member of KSII, the IEEE Computer Society, the IEEE Communication Society, the IEEE Signal Processing Society, and the IEEE Young Professionals.
