Kops Trophy
In 1992 the Kops Trophy was presented to the Ashburton Bridge Club by Elly and Aad Kops, The Hague of Holland (The Schravenhege Bridge School). Mrs Kops is a sister of Martin de Jong, a past member of the Ashburton Bridge Club.
The Kops Trophy was originally played for on Opening night.
