Exhibition Opening: Rebel Yankeys

Ashbel Woodward Museum, Franklin CT
Join us as we unveil the museum’s newest exhibit, Rebel Yankeys, a powerful exploration of two Revolutionary War soldiers from Franklin—Lebbeus Quy and Jacob Kingsbury—and the very different lives they led. Their stories open a window into the social and racial dynamics of 18th‑century Franklin, brought to life through voices and artifacts from the era.
To celebrate opening night, enjoy A Taste of History: The 1770s, a special reception featuring period‑inspired refreshments. This is a donation‑only event, and the museum store will be open for browsing.
Come be part of history, community, and conversation as we launch this exciting new exhibit.
