ASM Rizvi

Hello, I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science department at the University of Southern California. Currently, I am working as a graduate student researcher at USC-Information Sciences Institute (USC/ISI) under the supervision of Prof. John Heidemann. Previously, I worked for Veriflow Systems, Inc as a Foreign Software Engineer under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Caesar and Dr. Ahmed Khurshid. I accomplished my M.Sc. Engg. degree in the year of 2017 from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). Prof. A.B.M Alim Al Islam Razi was my thesis supervisor. I completed my B.Sc. degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2015. Prof. Md. Yusuf Sarwar Uddin was my supervisor for B.Sc. thesis.

My research interest includes Networking, Machine Learning and Human Computer Interaction (HCI). Currently, I am more focused on Networking and Security. I am currently working on anycast and DDoS attack mitigation techniques in DNS architecture at USC/ISI. Previously, I worked for Veriflow Systems, where I used to make network topology, worked with different networking devices from various vendors, configured those devices, and analyzed their networking behavior.
