My research focus is on Data Mining and Pattern Discovery in Time Series Data. I have been involved in various projects involving discovery, interpretation and predictive modeling of frequently occurring patterns, pattern assocations and hierarchies.
The majority of my research has been in Biomedical and Healthcare applications. I have considerable experience in the analysis of different types of Multidimensional Biomedical Sensor data streams, including:
ECG (Heart Rate), EEG (Brain Activity), EMG (Muscle Activity)
Human Body Motion Capture (MoCap)
Human Tongue Motion (for Speech Processing)
Respiration-induced Tumor Motion (for efficient Radiation Therapy)
Human Activity using Smartphone Embedded Inertial Sensors (Accelerometers, Gyroscopes, Magnetometers etc.).
