Hi I’m Arunavo.
I am a first-year PhD student in Computer Science at Oregon State University, EECS. I work at the intersection of machine learning and computer systems with Professor Dr. Wenqian Dong, where I design learning-based approaches to optimize system behavior and build next-generation system infrastructures that more effectively support and accelerate machine learning. Previously, I worked as a research scientist at Texas State University. Before joining as a research scientist, I also completed my Master's degree in Computer Science from Texas State University. I am fortunate to have Dr. Tanzima Islam as my supervisor and mentor. I spent two beautiful summers during my MS at two most beautiful places: Brookhaven National Lab and Lawrence Livermore National Lab.
Before coming to the US, I worked as an Assistant Professor at BUBT in Bangladesh.
I have completed my Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
I am always open for research collaborations because I love spending time on it, studying about literature and state of the arts, solving new problems, building new systems to solve them. Please reach me if you know any interesting problem or want to collaborate.
