About us

Welcome to Art UTD!

If you enjoy creating or viewing artwork, this is the club for you! We welcome both skilled student artists and anyone who just wants to learn more about art, and there are no membership fees to join.

At our monthly workshops/meetings, we provide art materials for members to create visual art, and we have different art media at each workshop. You can also present and discuss your artwork, and participate in other fun interactive activities!

Another way we promote the arts is through art-related community service initiatives! Every year we organize a yearly art show/contest to encourage student artistic talent and fundraise for charities. We have also been invited to paint murals around the UTD campus, face-paint at various events around the DFW area, draw chalk art at local arts festivals, and more!

Our Mission:

The mission of Art UTD is to engage UTD students in the visual arts and promote artistic talent on campus. This organization aims to provide quality experience in creating, displaying, presenting, and viewing artwork. Art UTD also seeks to introduce or strengthen techniques in the visual arts through group sessions. Most importantly, Art UTD encourages all UTD students to participate in visual arts events and activities.
