The purpose of this web site is to share with you some of my art classroom projects and presentations that I used in my classroom. Also there are a lot of sites that are educational but are time consuming to find. As I find them I will make them available on this web to help strengthen you art knowledge and ability. As an art teacher for over 36 years (Junior and Senior High Schools) I have created and collected many projects. I would like to share them as well as other presentations with you in hopes they make your creative experiences more enjoyable.

The natural development of providers based on cultural needs
Humanity needed food so we evolved into hunters and farmers. As the industrial revolution hit we needed builders and fixers. Commerce and international communication created the need for business knowledge. Today we need professionals who think outside the box and can solve the problems that are not covered in text books. Thinking back over all of these phases we notice the leaders in each area were creative problem solvers. The exercises in problem solving and creative solutions are the backbone of the art classes. It has been researched and proven that all children need to develop both sides of their brain, The right creative solution side and the left analytical side.
You can learn to be a Doctor but you have to be able to find solutions for problems that are not covered in text books.
