Do you find inspiration in representational subjects (trees, rocks, water, sky, people, animals, buildings, flowers, shadows, colors, etc.) but confusion in how to paint them? Learn an elemental approach to artfully depict representational subjects in watercolor. Developing control of shape, color, value & texture in watercolor media is what this course is all about. Join like-minded adults and a dedicated instructor as we explore the process of creative picture making through lessons designed to develop proficiency with watercolor. Establish effective working procedures, mix and match colors you see (or want to see), master three textures, explore four methods of paint to paper, attend to three attributes of effective shapes, then apply these design, drawing and technical tips to your own creative watercolor interpretations of any subject - from photos and imagination.
