This class is designed to introduce the fundamentals of the Spanish languages. Emphasis will be placed on acquisition of vocabulary and grammar through reading, writing, speaking, and listening. The study of people, culture, customs, and geography of the target countries will be integrated throughout the course.
This is potentially the most difficult class you will have this year. If you study, memorize, review vocabulary every night and not just for the quizzes/tests, it will be fun and easy. If you don't know what the words mean, nothing will make sense.
