The Walsh family has a family Junk Yard business. Pat "Papa" Walsh was part of the original Midville Mashers (which become the MONDOs) formed in 2018 and is currently a senior member of the MONDOs. For his heroics fighting raiders and biker gangs over the years Pat was allowed to take over the Harry Clever Field airstrip that's adjacent to Midville in 2028. Before that Pat and his family worked for the local truck stop. Seeing a need in the community Pat started a Junk Yard. They sell to truckers, autodullists and local people. Walsh's Yard is known throughout the area as place to get a fair deal on used parts and a hot meal.

The yard itself only really covered a small portion of the airfield. Pat started his operation out of the existing two hanger buildings with adjacent air-traffic controller tower. Then renovated and expanded the office space to accommodate the Mini-mart/Ammo/Lunch-Counter. Living quarters were also built on site (connected to the mini-mart) for the family.
