Welcome! I am a professor of health economics and development research.
My research focuses on developing practical solutions for positive societal change. Recurring themes include vulnerable populations, the impact of economic shocks, and decision-making processes shaped by information asymmetries and social norms. Empirical rigor is central to my approach, as I tend to leverage innovative data sources, field experiments, and quasi-experimental methods to address pressing economic questions.
PhD in Economics, Ruhr University of Bochum/Rhine-Westphalia Institute for Economic Research (Germany), 2012
