Arlúcio Viana is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Federal University of Sergipe. His research in mathematics dedicates mostly to the study qualitative aspects of solutions for diffusion processes carrying nonlocal features modeled by nonlinear partial differential equations. He is graduated from the University of Southeast of Bahia, obtained his Master's and Ph.D. by the Federal University of Pernambuco.
