APPLIED ECONOMIST DEMOGRAPHER
Previously, I worked as Research Fellow at the World Bank, in the Social Protection & Labor Global Practice. There, I was involved in the Human Capital Project, a global effort to accelerate quality investments in people. I have been awarded the World Bank Group FY19 VPU Team Award for Human Capital.
Before joining the Human Capital Project, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in a joint ICAP/Columbia University and University of Witwatersrand fellowship program. There, I worked on the Population-Based HIV Impact Assessments (PHIA) project in 11 sub-Saharan African countries, including Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Malawi, Namibia, Lesotho, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
I also consulted for many international organizations, including the World Health Organization and the World Bank..
