Manchester has an international airport and convenient train connections to most places in the UK. The talks take place in the Alan Turing building, which is the school of mathematics of the University of Manchester

• From Manchester Airport (MAN) there are regular trains to Manchester Piccadilly train station. The journey time is around 20 minutes.
• From Manchester Piccadilly train station the simplest way to the Alan Turing building is to walk, which takes around 20 minutes. There is also a large taxi rank at the rear entrance to the train station (Fairfield street).
